SCHAPPERT, John, (1919-2011) passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the age of 92. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Irene; his daughters, Gloria (Neal) McBride, and Christine (Robert) Papenhuyzen; his son Kevin; his grandchildren Edward (Crystal) McBride and Tyler Papenhuyzen as well as his brother Fred Schappert. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kelowna, BC on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with a Reception/ Tea following.
