The one where he’s short

Now that the water heater is fixed, we really don’t have anymore excuses not to run. Course the humidity is coming back, but we really need to run in it, because the rock n roll providence half marathon is in like 11 days.

Looking at a pace chart, with minimal effort, we should be able to average 13:00 min a mile to finish under 3 hours. And looking at the elevation chart is not that hilly. So with any luck we might be able to hit that.

I hate being an adult part 4638465

Paid the cell phone bill today.

All that’s left now is:

- city car tax
- inspection for the truck
- monthly truck payment
- probably brakes.
- ???
- profit

Also its Monday. But I hope its going to be a good day. I should have my ukulele today. I can’t wait to try and learn how to play it.

The weather has gotten better. So much so, that if its not raining, we’re gonna try to go out and run today. We only have one more Sunday before the rock n roll providence half marathon.

Rachael Ray is on the tv, and she’s cooking. Don’t get me wrong, what she’s cooking looks very very good, but why the hell do people cheer when she mentions what ingredients she’s using?

Yes everyone likes cheese, but do you really have to cheer?

On a similar note, when we went to see harry potter 7.2 last weekend, people actually clapped and cheered at the end of the movie. WHY? Are the actors in the audience? Did the director host the 8pm showing in Warwick? WTF they can’t hear you if you clap at the end of the movie.

Do you clap at the end of a dvd? Probably not.

las-vegas-trips

Had a good run last night. A little humid for my liking but a good run none the less. We made the decision yesterday morning to forego the flying pig in 2012 to help the in laws with their renovations upstairs, and to get some things fixed on our truck.

So far the really really tentative plan is to maybe run the rock n roll Edinburgh in 2013. But the idea hit today, let’s actually have a honeymoon. I was thinking maybe going to the tattoo convention in Vegas. That way we could actually hang out with our Vegas friends, and check out a really cool convention. Maybe even get a tattoo. Who knows, I’ll talk with Crystal about it when I get home. It won’t be next year, but maybe the year after. Course when an idea like this pops into my head, more things spring to mind: do we stay at the luxor again, or on freemont street? Etc etc. Well, food for thought I guess.

Work is better today. It’s slow, so I’ve been able to get to the recalls that have been piling up, as well as 2 weeks worth of paperwork.

Lunch now. It’s not too bad out. Nice breeze.
