Its a lazy day here, just like it is every Saturday. All is right at Casa McBride/Smith. The inlaws are home safe and sound from Florida, so the puppies are all happy. We’re happy cause we can hang out with our cats, who have decided that they want nothing to do with us. Which is ok, because they become our best friends when its supper time, and then they snuggle with us on the couch until its bedtime.

This morning we ran out to Dick’s Sporting Goods to grab something for the half marathon next Sunday. We’re both nervous, but the cup is half full part of me, says we’re gonna be ok. Which I know we will be. After Dick’s, we ran to the fabric store, so Crystal could grab some fabric to make a post race dress for our lunch after we run. Then it was a quick bite to eat before returning home. I braved the weather to dig through the shed to find Crystal’s sewing machine, and now I’m on the couch watching a Doctor Who marathon on BBC America. It’s all leading up to the Series 6 premiere tonight. There’s actually a count down on the screen. 06:42:40. So very excited about this. Course as it premieres, we’ll be upstairs eating and watching a movie. Saturdays are family movie night. We have a choice of two movies tonight: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, or Hereafter.
