i’m tired of the cold.

Remember a few days ago when i was explaining that my Store Manager has to verify everything? Well he was off yesterday, and when he opened his office this morning, the is what he walked into. It took him all day to finish what was in the room, and what we worked on today. We felt very very bad for him, at 2, we basically stopped processing claims, so he could catch up.

Just one more day at work, then its the fun of trying to find a new car or truck for Crystal. The Explorer is making a terrible grinding sound as you drive. And its getting louder. I can hear it from the house as she drives past. Looking to buy a newish vehicle is stressful. I’ve never bought a vehicle. Any suggestions?

Find one you like, drive it around then say “we will think about it.” Go to another car lot and find the same car, drive it, if they are at a higher price say “Well we found this same exact car at blah blah for this amount” and always say 2-3 thousand less than they actually have it for. Go back to the other lot and tell them the same thing. rinse, repeat until they won’t lower the price anymore and chaching, buy.

depends on what you are looking for. An explorer is expencive to fix, and a gas pig, but a beauty to drive. I personally loved my escape, but we needed something with more towing capacity so went with the F-150 (which is a pig on gas too).I would love another Escape, it was great on gas and smaller than the Explorer.i like ford because of our abundance of dealershios for barganing and service, but if we had a Hyundai I would sooo be looking at a Tiberon.. a thing of beauty that is :D

I have bought and flipped four vehicles now, and all i can say is take breaks away from the dealer to have private conversations, even if they are fake ones. Mark and i do the good cop bad cop thing where he gets excited and i tell him no and we need to think it over (so we say). Our truck dropped 7G because of that. car salesmen want to selltoday, they know the likelihood of you returning, and to them, is close to zero. Helps if you have the card of another salesperson too.
