Its been a pretty good day here, so far. I’m trying to stay positive, trying to stay in a good mood. Its working pretty good so far.

Work has grinded to an almost pitiful stop. The Store Manager has to verify ALL boxes of claims going out. Right now my manager has about 15 boxes to verify. Anything that goes into a box, he has to inspect. I usually have around 200-250 boxes going back every week. On top of verifying every box, he has to inspect the ORM-D boxes to make sure I’m not trying to send anything back that I am not supposed to. Its really slow going. I don’t think they have looked far enough ahead to think about Christmas, where I process quadruple the amount of claims every week. Thats all my manager will be doing come Christmas. Yes, in claims we think that far ahead. I try to keep things back here as simple as possible for everyone.

So know we have Asset Protection verifying all the movies going out every week, but the store manager also verifys the same boxes, plus ALL of the other ones. I swear the next person they aregonna be standing behind is the receiver that checks in the directs. Thats the missing link now. And our receiver likes to be alone. He has his own 10 foot rule: “Don’t come near me.”

Site 2 Store has slowed down alot. The on order report has dropped from 12 pages to 1…finally. It was crazy at Christmas. Its finally manageble. I don’t know what its like in other store, but if we can’t get to the customer, the CSM handles it. We’re supposed to have the shoes associate deal with them but I made a command decision when S2S went live. We wanted the CSM’s to deal with the customers.

Other than that, live is pretty good. Crystal and I have started to get into Doctor Who. Its a pretty good show, The Doctor has crazy eyes, and its over acted with laughable effects. Its friggin’ great. I’m a sucker for a good SCI-FI show, so this is right up my alley.

World of Warcraft however, is not going well. I wanted to play last night, but my eyes were killing me. SO we just snuggled on the couch. We haven’t played since before Crystal was sick, so tonight we’re gonna start up again. I bet we’ve been kicked from our guild for not playing, but we can probably get into another guild. Joe just has to be on, so we can beg for a spot in their guild. Or I’ll just ask Joe for control of Messengers of Death. That might happen, you never know!
