Well Friday is finally here. Its been a week from hell at work. Site 2 Store is over packed. With the two of us in claims, we are barely keeping up with all the returns after black friday. On BF we had over 9000 customers come through our door. and they spent over 689k. Economy in the crapper? I don’t think so! Talking with one of the service desk girls, she says she’s never seen so many returns. She’s new. I told her just wait until the day after Christmas. That’s the day they shut down the service desk and open up 4-6 regular registers for returns. She says she’s from New York, and has never seen so many returns or scams. I told her, the Sunday after BF, I scanned out over $3k of stolen items, and thats just what we found. That’s scary.
With the week from hell, I haven’t really had the energy to post anything. I’ve been trying to save up all my thoughts to do at least one post here a week, so I’m gonna try and make this a good post. Hell its already a good post, cause I have done more than 3 sentences.
Last Saturday we went up to CCRI for their yearly craft show. I spent way too much money there on neat stuffs. I got a very cute stuffed cat, and a neat Christmas scene, that I may or may not send to my mom. You see its fragile. So, it may be safer on one of my end tables. This Saturday we are probably gonna go to two more craft shows. One in Pawtucket, and one in Providence. That should be alot of fun, and I can’t wait. I actually like to wander around and look at stuff made by people more talented than me.
Stop! Picture break!

This is Chester, I rescued him from the craft show at CCRI.

This is the little Christmas scene, with Chaucer helping me set it up
Ok, back to the recap. Sunday, we went to see Twilight. It was Ok. Now, now, let me explain. The acting was wooden for the first 45 minutes or so. There was alot of staring. Alot. Edward, needs to wash his hair. In one of the reviews I read, the reviewer said the the actor playing Edward needs to loosen up. He didn’t look comfortable playing a character that had to be uncomfortable. Oh, and wash your damn hair. The last half hour or so was pretty good, cause it seemed like they realised “Oh shit! We have to start wrapping this shit up.” On they way to the theatre, we hit a pothole, and suddenly the truck got louder. Yeah we ripped a hole in the muffler somewhere. On Wednesday, we got it fixed. To the tune of $548.01. Which means rent is gonna be late. Hope fully next week we can pay that. Cause I got stuff on layaway for Christmas to pay for still.
I’m not even gonna talk about the damn toilet. If we can make it to January, we’re just gonna buy a new one. and use the old one as a bird bath/squirrel feeder.
The meme is shamelessly ripped off of Crystal’s site:
1. When did you last have a mid-day nap? Um, last Friday when I got home from working BF.
2. When did you last have milk and cookies? Like Crystal, about a month ago.
3. When did you last have a bubble bath? I don’t remember, probably at the apartment.
4. When did you last jump on the furniture? Along time ago, I got to tall.
5. When did you last play in the mud? in the mud? along time ago. On a MUD, couple of years ago.
I’ll leave you with a moment of zen:
