Just gonna be a quick post. Its snowing here again. And Crystal is still at work. I think before anyone else gets sent home, she should be allowed to go, cause she lives the farthest away. It must have been StressedRPH that was working today, and was afraid to be alone for a few hours.

I just hope she makes it home safe. And when she does, I’ll mix her a drink, and then she can dine on Shrimp, and Lobster.

Since there was shit for new releases and Brian wants to see Wanted, I picked that up for this weekends movie.

Ok, I’m tired, and have a headache, I’m gonna hit the couch, and stress about Crystal driving home.

new years comes once a year…

Ahh Tuesday. The day before the day before New Years.

Its been a crazy crazy year. (open letter – quick recap of the year.)

We got moved. But before we moved Crystal and I were like Bob Villa. We sanded, primed and painted an entire basement suite. We repainted the kitchen a lovely white and yellow, with some red accents on the door and drawer pulls. Now, we’re settled in, and we’re slowly starting to make it a home. I always joke with Robin and brian, that we’re gonna turn the laundry room into a laundry mat and charge them to do their laundry. I think its working out pretty good. We have our own entrance, our own space. Robin cooks a few nights a week and we take up the other days. I give her a hard time alot, but I know deep down inside, she likes having a full house again.

Work is going well. I still have a job, and thats a great thing. I’m still in claims, with just enough customer interaction to make it interesting. I got a new co-worker after Bill left for Woonsocket. Heather is still learning, but doing an awesome job. She’s a work horse. Its hard to keep up with her sometimes. It ebbs and flows here. With the kids having two weeks off at Christmas, the returns are kinda crazy, but we are making due. Usually we have 3-4 pallets of returns a week, this week however, we had 10 pallets totalling over 40k of returned merch. That’s crazy!

Crystal is still a Pharmacy Tech up in Mass. She likes it there. Alot of different people to interact with. She has some pretty cool people she works with. I don’t think she’d trade it for the world.

The animals are doing good, and settled into the new place. Chaucer is just a big social butterfly. He’s really fit in, and joins up with Fatboy to terrorise the dog. Pickle has found two new sleeping places. One in the dresser we have in the bedroom, and one in Crystals desk in the computer nook. She has full run of the house, except of course the kitchen. She can chase the cat all over, and does. Even up the stairs! Its very cute.

Its been a good year. Lots of change. Some good, some bad.

I guess I need to work on my New Years resolution.

- post everyday.
- be more positive
- don’t let work piss me off as much
- try and eat better

obama in tha house, obama in tha house

obama

I got a free bumper sticker from the internet today. I’ll probably put it on the computer, like I do all my stickers. I like getting free swag from the internet.

Ooooh, look Junior Mints….

err ahh hello

iPhone fail at walmart.

Now most people know that the Walmarts dion’t have any internet connections, other than the kiosks. Now most people also know to start the set up for the iPhone, you have to have an internet connection.

So, I think you know where this is going. We have a display of the iPhones. The only thing you can do with an iPhone that has not been set up with itunes is make emergency calls. This should be good. I just had to iphonefailrun out there an take a picture. Course on the display, there is one iPhone. But there is room for two. On the stand that there is no phone, its an active security stand, so if you even look at it wrong the alarm goes off. Too funny.

Heather did an awesome job in claims over the weekend. Not alot to clean up. But I still have about 5 shopping carts full of claims. I’m just waiting for a 3rd shift associate to finish up, then I can go back. Some people are so stupid Like the iPhones, you have to plug the iPods into the computer (with and internet connection, and with itunes.) to get them to work. That 8gig iPod Touch you brought back, guess what? It works, dumbass, just plug the damn thing into your computer. Oh, and the asshole that brought back the $250 iPod Classic, get a case and you won’t see the scratches on the back.

But I digress.

I had a great Christmas “vacation”. We were put to shame with the ornaments by Ethel and Dave. We *must* do better next year. We have to put THEM to shame! I beat Dave at eating, I must beat him at ornaments too! Seriously, it was a great Christmas. Got everything I wanted. I’m so happy with my evil genius moustace, and my remote control cozy! I tried out my new ceramic “Starbucks” coffee cup this morning, and it works great! Very happy with it. Awesome holiday. Awesome family. Awesome baby jeebus.

Now to start a list for my birthday:

- a working Nintendo
- a gps – so Crystal and I can start geo-caching
- a flat screen monitor

Course before my birthday, its gonna be Crystal’s. I think I’ll start to save up now, so she can get a couple of kick ass gifts.

Oh, by the way, they got the iPhone up and running, its a 100% working phone. Crank calls anyone?
