I got out of work early today! W00t! Thanks to an awesome Store Manager. So I had to rush around and clean up whatever messes I could, so Claims should be in good shape for when Bill goes in tomorrow.

I called an left a message, yesterday with the apartment that we lived in last night asking where my money was for the damage deposit. Its been month and a half since we moved out. See, when we moved in our credit was not the greatest, so we offered to pay an extra months rent. So we paid a prorated month (first) and the last month…plus an extra month. So in total, we paid about $1600 and change just to move in there. I know we don’t get our prorated month or the last month, thats cool. Whats starting to piss me off is that we are supposed to get that extra $750 that we paid. Now they have been dragging their feet getting us this money.

I visited them on August 29th to get the ball rolling. They found all the paperwork, and said to call in a week if i had not heard from them. I called back in a week (the 5th) and again (on the 12th) both times they said the check was in the mail. I called today, and the guy said he just got the conformation last week and should have a check to me soon. What was his exact quote to me today? “Its easier to take the money, than it is to give back.”

Ass.

He then took my email address, and said he would email me with any info he gets after emailing his accounting dept. So I guess now if I don’t get an email by tomorrow afternoon, I’ll be calling every day to see if I can get any information. I think if by some chance I don’t get anything by the middle of next week, I’ll have to get my lawyer involved, because I guess he is not taking this seriously.

Speaking of tattoos. I’ve been trying to think about what to get. One part of me wants to finish one arm, and another part of me wants to start something completly different, like getting rubber ducks on my other arm, you know, to start my “ed’s pop culture” tattoo. I dunno, I usually know just before I walk in.
