Its almost my Birthday! I can’t wait. I get to stand in line at the DMV and get my license renewed.
Over the week our gas was cut off, and we’re in the process of getting the money together to get it paid and turned back on. Tim, a friend from work got me a Birthday present: Aperitif for Destruction, its friggin great, we laughed all the way home.
The gas company is evil. They are the repository of all evil on earth. They charge more for gas in the winter when you actually need it for heat than they do in summer, when they know heat is free anyway. They then multiply all of the charges by a factor called a “therm” which is their way of not only charging you for the gas but also for how warm they think it will keep you. Who else does this? Do you have an extra charge called a “flab” on every Twinkie you buy? Satan owns the gas company.
