NHL Humour
I know… the lock out and all… but if we DID have hockey this year…
It’s Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final, and a man makes his way to his seat right at center ice. He sits down, noticing that the seat next to him is empty. He leans over and asks his neighbour if someone will be sitting there.
“No,” says the neighbour. “The seat is empty.”
“This is incredible”, said the man. “Who in their right mind would have a seat like this for final game of the Stanley Cup playoffs and not use it?”
The neighbour says “Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to come with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Stanley Cup we haven’t been to together since we got married in 1967.”
“Oh … I’m sorry to hear that. That’s terrible. But couldn’t you find someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbour to take the seat?”
The man shakes his head “No. They’re all at the funeral.”
Fun stuff
Had the most moronic party last night. The 2 WAR’sstood opposite each other about roughly 10 yards away with everyone flanking the open area between them, they would then provoke the monster back and forth causing everyone to run back and forth.
Mind you we were in the oasis in the dunes so there were trees in the way. So we had to run around the trees. If I was in the party my wife was in (and I was for the last hour we played) I would have leveled twice, and been well on my way to 18.
At some points it got so bad I was getting up from my computer to play with the ferret and go to the bathroom.
The second party I was in was much better. (course before I got there, from what my wife was saying, each time a WHM leveled, they left the party. There was one WAR that was a little “off”, but I’ll let my wife post about that.
Oh, let it snow, let it snow let it snow!
Its a winter wonderland out there today. The lord rubeth is scalp and, lo there be snow. I’m posting this on Crystals computer, because mine is currently a paper weight on my desk. The same thing happened to it, that happened less than 3 weeks ago. This time instead of futzing with it, I just called for the recovery cd’s for it, and I’ll wait the 3-5 business days to get it up and running again.
So I think untill I get the computer up and running again, I will play football on the PS2.
Oh, yeah its still snowing….just abit.
