So, last night, while driving home pretty close to HJY, the altenator belt tore and fell off. What resulted was the battery power going to zero, and Crystal pitting her foot to the floor, and our speed decreasing. So I got her to cross three lanes of traffic, and go into the break down lane, so we could call AAA. What a godsend, AAA has already paid for itself 10 times over.

Thats whats left of the belt. Weird thing is, its only like 2 weeks old. The guy that put it on, Matt is comming over here sometime this morning to put a new one back on. I work with Matt, he’s a good guy. He’s a life saver.

Course you look at it this way (thanks to Ma and Crystal for pointing me in this mindset) We paid NOTHING for the car, and have put about a $1000 into it so far. We could have paid $1000 for a car and might have had to put another $1000 in to it. Other then some of the little things, the car is great. I think we are just getting used to a new (old) car, and an older car needs alittle TLC, right?
