So, I’m thinking of talking to the store manager about transfering over to a day shift. I was thinking last night that they probably need people in the lawn and garden section of the store. I’ll probably wait untill I can talk it over with Crystal and then see what I can do. In my mind its easy, just go and talk to Don. This is how the conversation went in my mind at 2:30 this morning.

“Hi Don, can we talk, I have a bit of a problem.”

“Sure Ed, sit down, whats the problem?”

“Well with my wife working her new shift, its 7:30-4:00, and me working nights, we never get to see each other. I was wondering if there was an opening in the lawn and garden in the morning, you know the 7-4 shift. I’d like to have the same shift as her.”

“Well Ed, let me see what I can do. Right now I don’t see a problem with doing that. Can you finish out the week in unloading and Monday come over to lawn and garden?”

“Thanks Don, that would be awesome!”

See doesn’t it sound easy? I hope it will go that easy when I go and ask him.
